My other rigs
1976 Ford Courier, the LOPS
(little orange piece of shit)
This is my first rig. It's really starting to show the wear & tear that I put it though during college. However, the truck hasn't fully outlived it's usefull life, & well, I guess I've grown attached to the dumb thing. Sure is usefull for moving stuff & on dirt roads it's a lot of fun. I'm thinking of making it a 4x4 & possibly putting in a larger engine. Most likely a 2.3L 4-banger, though I'd love to put in a 170, but the engine compartment isn't long enough. (I'm not really interested in greatly modifing the truck...too much work!)

While the truck has been fun...it's also been a source of frustrations as well.

On a trip to Portland (OR), my 2 front tires fell apart (stupid retreads!) & then on the way back home the rear ones gave way. Here's a picture of the worst rear tire.
The truck also has had a problem with keeping mufflers intact, as this picture shows!
This little truck was fun & got me through college, but it was time to let it go. I sold it when I moved.
1982 cougar
This car was given to me after a friend of mine sent it into a ditch. It was really just a big pain in the ass! It became a real point of contention between my landlord & I. After several attemts to fix it, I finnally sent it to the junkyard.
1996 Toyota Tercell
Thought that I had a few pics of this car on hand, but I guess I don't. Picked this little car up to drive cross country & it ended up making 4 trips. Still runs great, though my mom is driving it now. A rather fun little car, but I didn't dare work on the thing.
1965 Falcon tudor
I guess one wasn't enough as I "HAD" to get another one. This vehicle is not in as good shape as the '63, so I don't feel all that guilty modifing some. Right now the car has a 200 six, holley 1946 carb, C4 auto & a 2.87 ratio 7 1/4" rear. I'm planning on keeping the six (of course!), but I want to swap a 3.03 3spd (which I now have) & a 3.55 locking 8" rear. I just recently swapped a carter YF from a 1970 maveric & am currently fiddling with the tuning. I'm also going to go with the duraspark II electronic ignition. This car has its own page now.
1984 F150 4X4
This is my most recent vehicle. It has the 300 six, NP435 4spd, NP208 transfer case & a 3.55 limited-slip 8.8" rear. The plan is to lift it a little (just an inch or 2), for the most part I will leave the driveline alone. For the engine I plan on swapping on a 2bb (autolite 2150), Offy "C" intake & the EFI exhast headers. One of the preavious owners has all ready swapped to the duraspark II so I won't need to worry about that. The truck has its own page now as well.
