Chocolate Butter Cookies

¾ cup softened butter (1 ½ sticks)
½ cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon almont extract
1 ½ cups flour
¼ cup sifted cocoa
powdered sugar for dusting
Oven: 375ºF
Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Add egg yolk and almond extract, and mix
well. Slowly add flour and cocoa, and mix
until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls with fingers,
and bake on greased cookie sheets for
7 to 9 minutes. While still warm, roll cookies
in powdered sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
