Disclaimer: Webb's not mine, but that's not from the lack of trying.  A/N: OK Renee informed me Webb wasn't impressed with my behaviour of  late and that my penance was to write a fic containing,
*Pizza
*Watching an equestrian event on a sports channel
*Apple Brown Betty (he's in the mood for it)
*drinking a beer
*He should be dressed in boxers only (OK, Webb didn't order that one, it was Renee's idea, but it was a damn good one so I kept it in)
A/N 2: I know nothing about horse riding or this Apple Brown Betty thing so if I say something that doesn't make sense forgive me.

Webb awoke with a start; he was trapped, pinned down. He cringed remembering the torture of the previous night which was sure to be repeated tonight. This wasn't happening again was it? Had he been so
stupid? Slowly peeling his eye's open he adjusted his eyes to the light and sighed. He had, he'd gone and done it again. He had fallen to sleep with Sarah Mackenzie's head on his lap. The first three weeks had been amazing but life was hard now.

It all started two night's ago when she had broken here ankle. Refusing to go out anywhere she had made him hire some videos and order in so they could stay in for the weekend. A reasonable request or so he thought. And so it was that that night he had innocently awoken the sleeping beauty to find the devil in disguise. The biggest mistake of his life, rule number one in self preservation is never awake a tired marine. Not even to move from there awkward position on the couch to a more comfortable bed. He had paid for
that move all night and all the next day, and it wasn't a lesson he would soon forget.

So it was the next night he found himself frozen in fear. He had let them fall asleep on the sofa again, her head on his lap. He had been lovingly stroking her hair the night before but he was now afraid to breathe in case it moved a hair and she awoke. Five hours he had sat there waiting, not daring to move.

At least he had the TV remote last night. He had managed to find a late night sports channel which was showing histories greatest horse riding events. The equestrian events had kept him entertained for a good hour as he remembered the thrills of the steeplechase. But tonight all he could do was look longingly across the sofa toward the remote as the Apple Brown Betty advert played, reminding him of his hunger. What he would give for that sweet apple taste that's teasing him from afar.

He stomach was growled at the thought and he had no way of stopping it. He sent up a silent pray that it wouldn't wake her up as she stirred slightly grumping at the noise. Slowly he gathered the courage to reach out his arm to the pizza box which had been teasing him from the coffee table. One inch, one single, goddamn, inch. And he had been sure to put it closer tonight just in case. So much for thinking ahead.

Well at least his beer was within reach, slowly and carefully he took a tiny sip. He was on rations now until she woke up naturally and he was free to move. Wiping the bottle across his head in a useless attempt to cool down he realized he was thankful for one thing. At least he was only wearing boxers and not a full three piece suit like last night. It must have been the hottest summer DC has ever seen and there he had been stuck in his living room, fully dressed and afraid to move. Yes he could be thankful for one thing, it could be worse.

His stomach was growling loudly and often now and he decided a plan of action was needed before it was to late. He was CIA right; he should be able to get himself out of a mess like this without any real damage. So lightly he blew across here head the breeze slowly waking her. No way was he going to let her know he had done it tonight. He was never going to wake her with her knowledge again. Slowly she stirred and looked into his eyes.

"We did it again." She said her voice thick with sleep "why didn't you wake me?"

And it was then he realized. All that time ha had been sat there thinking he had been looking at her. Four hours had past and it seemed like ten because he was looking at her face. Wonderful and unguarded, loving even in sleep, he realized he had enjoyed it. He had whined all night about it but the truth was there was nowhere else he would rather be.

"Because I didn't want to, you looked happy" Came his honest answer. "But I think it's time we considered buying a TV for the bedroom"
