| Here is my first addition. Cigarette vending machines on the streets. The 16 year old must love them. Germany is still very tolerant of smoking and there is cigarette advertising everywhere. With around AU$140 Billion in tax revenue from smoking every year I think the German government might have a bit of an addiction problem itself. |

| These vegy gardens appear all over the place, in cities and in the country. Lou and I think that it is some kind of communal little garden area for all the people living in apartments that don't have gardens. Pretty cool. |

| German's love to be active and so in most parks or lakes you'll find beach volleyball courts and communal table tennis tables. People just hang out all day hitting a ball around and taking it easy. |

| Dogs get treated as kings in Germany. They can use public transport and they get taken everywhere. This shot shows a little Jack Russell being taken along in the back of a bike trailor, happy as Larry. |
