This year's Winter Formal, sponsored by the sophomore class of 2004 at Esperanza High School, will be located at the Grand Newport Plaza adjacent to the Nike town complex in Newport Beach on January 26, 2002.  The theme to this year's dance is Garden of Enchantment.  Early bird tickets go on sale on January 7 and regular priced tickets go on sale on January 14. Be sure to come to this special event!       First, you will be able to take your couple pictures at the school.  Then go out to eat; be sure to try one of our suggested restaurants that are located near the Grand Newport Plaza.  Then make your way to the Newport Plaza where you will be able to take group pictures, sing karaoke, try your luck at the casino, and of course dance your heart out! Plus, ultimate desserts are also available.        This year's Winter Formal is a must see! Especially with our great Winter Formal Court presentation in the Grand Newport Plaza's courtyard. It is like no other Winter Formal you've seen! So please, be sure to attend our marvelous Winter Formal on January 26 in Newport.  We'll see you there!

Winter Formal Court Presentation

Be sure to attend our amazing Winter Formal Court Presentation on January 24th, 2002.  It will be held right before our women's varsity basketball game in the gym. We will be presenting the prince and princesses as well as announcing the king! So please come, cheer on your lady aztecs, and watch your king get crowned! We have been working diligently to make this Winter Formal special for all Esperanza students. We have made a list of restaurants near the Newport Plaza as well as finding you discounts to selected limousine services. Be sure to try to use the places exclusively for Winter Formal!

Remember: To purchase tickets you must have both ASB cards (yours and your dates) or a guest pass.  You must also have both ASB cards or an ASB card with the guest pass and an I.D. to enter the Winter Formal dance.
