Wondering
Are you going to forgive me, can you please tell me so,
I just keep on wondering, because I really need to know.
Are you listening to what other people say,
I just keep on wondering for I don't know your way.
Do you want me to change the way I am towards you,
I just keep on wondering if you want someone new.
Am I the one you fell in love with before,
Or am I the fool that was locked behind your door?
Why did your feelings for me change so fast,
Was it the love that you know couldn't last?
Am I the person you knew a year back,
Or did you reject me for something I lacked?
Does the love in your heart go round and round,
It seemed as if it had died like a clock that hasn't been wound.
What do you want from me, may I ask,
Is it as difficult as a brain teaser task?
Why don't you tell me about this strange deed,
Because my lover, you're all that I need.
If you've already thrown me out of your heart,
We'll both know we've grown worlds apart.
