Ages 4 - 10

My very first experience that I remember having was when I was 4 years old. We had just moved from Burlington to Bluevale, Ontario and were there about a week when there was a grass fire down by the barn. We all ran down to see it - us being from the city and having never seen anything like this.

As we were standing there waiting for the fire trucks to arrive, I glanced over to my neighbour's farm house and there was this tremendous billboard size sign in the field. The sign was so big that it blocked out the whole side of the my neighbour's house, all you could see was the front porch. It said, "George's Bulldozing" and it had a picture of a big yellow bulldozer on it.

While I was seeing this sign I noticed that the air seamed to be charged with static electricity. Everything was very defined, the air was very crisp and everything looked funny. Like it was almost glowing.

I asked my mother where that sign come from, she said, 'what sign honey?', when I looked it was gone. Then the fire trucks came and I forgot about it - until I turned 15 and my old neighbour got a new business "George's Bulldozing". And I remember what I had seen. Did I see the future? I think I did.
