
Running Riot are a four piece street punk band originating from Belfast, Northern Ireland. The band have been together in various guises since 1997. During this time the band have played numerous gigs around Ireland, including their home town Belfast, Dublin, Cork and Drogheda. They have also played in London and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, and recently headlined the first night of the Hackney Punks Picnic festival in London. During these gigs they have played with bands such as UK Subs, Drop Kick Murphys, Gundog, Knuckledust, Red Alert, Red London, Distortion, Warriors, Bombshell rocks, Voice Of a Generation, US Bombs, Dog On A Rope, Sham 69 and the Cockney Rejects, as well as local bands like Skint, Striknien DC and the Toffee Hammers.
They have recorded one album called "Reclaim The Streets" for Rejected Records (PO Box 6591, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, Ireland), and Flat Records in the USA. Runnin' Riot have also recorded several tracks for various compilations including a Blitz tribute, a Ruts tribute, and American compilation called "Bite The Bullet". Running Riot have just finished recording a new EP to be released in the near future. They have also been asked to tour in the USA with the Drop Kick Murphys.
