What Should We Have Done?

What We Could Have Done Remember that recent terrorist attack we endured a few years ago? Of course you do, how could anyone forget? Well, maybe people have already, by the looks of it. Anyway, I just read an article from a British left-winged paper. It is well written, but what I saw was surprising, because they normally don't favor the states. The author wrote on how grateful he was that the US was not an irrational, violent nation, a nation that was the most militarily powerful in the world. And that we did not wage a true war over 9-11. Good point there. If we had done something like that to Iraq or wherever-stan, I can promise you that we'd have been nuked in less than a week. But we didn't. Maybe we should have. We do have weapons that can wipe an entire nation from the map, and not leave radiation or fallout- and leave all of the buildings and infrastructure standing (only killing life). So I was wondering to myself, why people are protesting what we're doing here. No, the plans aren't perfect. But they're much more peaceful than what we could have done. At least the other way, none of our boys (people MY age, in MY school, my CLASSMATES) would be sent there, risking their asses to keep warheads from nearing US shores.
