I look up-
The sun shines brightly
Through the glass sky
The heat burns the flesh,
The ground, the grass
There is fire everywhere
And then the sky sparkles
Something is wrong
The tendrils of glitter
Streak across the crystal firmament
And shards of glass come falling down
I am struck by one,
As I lay in the burning fields
Staring at the sun
It strikes the heart
I cannot move
The breath ceases...
Glass, everywhere
In the burning fields
The flames die around me
I see in a reflection, myself
The flames doused by my cold blood
And I look into the sky
The sun shines no more
It has fallen
There is only tremendous gap
It illuminates nothing
It casts shadows upon shadows
Pain onto pain
I close my eyes
I hide from the darkness
But it finds me
My eyes cannot close
I cannot die
The void has no mercy
It feels nothing
I feel everything
And the shard pins me to the ground
The fields grow dark
My blood puts out the flames
All that is left is a sea of blood
And I am drowning in it...
