Kappa Delta prides itself on their sincere sisterhoods and the bonds that they have made throughout their years in KD. This pride is expressed through Kappa Delta's Purpose:

The Purpose of Kappa Delta Sorority is to promote true friendships among the college girls of our country by inculcating into their hearts and lives those principles of truth, of honor, of duty, without which there can be no true friendship.

What is a Sister? What is Sisterhood? Kappa Delta Sisterhood is much more than letters on a shirt, more than an organization that meets once a week. It is sincere sisterhood, its always having a friend by your side. It's brighter days and crazier nights. It's a bond of loyalty and friendship that will stand the tests of time. It's a group that pushes you when you need to be pushed and realizing when you need to be carried. Women who build each other up, not tear each other down.
