Once there was a child born of love,

Who is now flying high as pure as a white dove.

Her hurts are no more, her pain forever gone,

And missing her is what I have left for me all alone.

She is quiet a little beauty with eyes full of glow,

And her wings are so white,

 like the white as the falling snow.

Forever in our memory, forever in our heart,

Is where you will stay because we suddenly

had to part.

Jesus called her name, and he said come with me,

for now you are a child that will walk forever free.

Stars that twinkle in the night so high,

Is where I find you now shining in the sky.

Moonlight glistens in the air so pure,

While I know your kissing me for I feel it so sure.

Precious little Katie we love you so,

Never forget our undying love we will never let you go.

Love never dies, it gets stronger year to year,

and your loving lasting memories

will be forever near.

Your struggle was hard and painful we knew,

that is why Jesus said no more she will become anew.

Shining in the heavens is where she is now you see,

Forever missed and loved until we meet with glee.
