USC, Time Magazine College of the YEAR -

USC is one of those schools that is having a tough time trying to sell this new "image" to incoming students. As a result, all of our school's funds are being pumped into decorating the school with new flowers every week, public relations, publicity (via newspaper articles, etc.), and neat little slogans.

One of my biggest personal gripes in regards to this school is how USC feels it is necessary to replace everything that starts with the letter "C" with the letters "SC".

Case and point, the USC SCampus Guide.

My dear friends, that is not a clever use of the letters" SC".  It is just SCtupid.

Or how about that awesome So-Cal spellout? You know, the one that goes...S-O-U-T-H-E-R-N....blah blah blah. HELLO?!? It doesn't even work! You have to cram in the last few letters of "California" so fast that the people chanting it end up sounding like a crowd of blubbering idiots.

On another note, I've just recently started my collection of USC Time Magazine College of the Year Memorabilia. So far, I have 3 College of the Year parking stickers, 2 College of the Year flyers, 1 College of the Year dog collar, 37 issues of the College of the Year Time Magazine issue, 76 copies of the College of the Year article President Sample sent us, 3 College of the Year breath mints, and 1 College of the Year Zippo Lighter.

Sigh.

I wish USC would build some more parking structures. An arcade would be nice too.
