Installing Update

To install this update you must have PkZip, Winzip or any other software that can open zip files installed on your computer.  You must also have an activated version of Lotty Gold installed on your computer for this update to work.. Create a new folder named "Update" under your Lotty Gold folder. Save the downloaded file "LgUpdate.zip" in the "Update" folder. Double-click the "LgUpdate.zip" file.  If your unzip software does not open you must open your unzip software and use it to find "LgUpdate.zip" on your computer.  Once your unzip software asks you where to expand the files select the same folder "Update"  where the zip file is. After the software has extracted the files close your unzip program. Copy your “lgsdv.sld” file that is in the Lotty Gold Folder to a safe place on your hard disk.  If you do not backup this file before continuing you will lose all your saved tickets and player information. Once you have unzipped the files copy “GetLock.exe”, “MainApp.exe” and “lgsdv.sld” to your Lotty Gold folder replacing the existing files. Start Lotty Gold as usual.  You will be asked for a new password, if you do not wish to protect Lotty Gold with a password just click “Cancel”.  You can set a password later using the tools menu. Should you wish to import your previous tickets and information click on the Tools menu in Lotty Gold and select “Copy Data From Previous Version”.  Use the controls to select the folder where you saved your “lgsdv.sld” file and follow the instructions on the screen.
