Installing Update

Please make sure that your application has been updated with the newest upgrade before updating your data files. To install this update you must have PkZip, Winzip or any other software that can open zip files; installed on your computer. Create a new folder named "Data Update" under your Lotty Gold folder. Save the downloaded file "LgData.zip" in the "Data Update" folder. Double-click the "LgData.zip" file.  If your unzip software does not open you must open your unzip software and use it to find "LgData.zip" on your computer.  Once your unzip software asks you where to expand the files select the same folder "Data Update" where the zip file is. After the software has extracted the files close your unzip program. There will now be one new file in the folder "Lgsdv.sld". 1) Create a new folder under Lotty Gold named "Old Data Files". 2) Find the two file ";Lgsdv.sld" in your Lotty Gold folder and copy it to the "Old Data Files" folder. 3) Copy the file "Lgsdv.sld" that you unzipped in the "Data Update" folder to your Lotty Gold folder. 4) Run Lotty Gold.  To insert your old players and tickets into the new Lotty data file click on the "Tools" menu of Lotty Gold and on the "Copy Data From Previous Version" option. 5) Follow the screen instuctions.
