DID YOU KNOW?

-What is Ed Norton's character's name?-

He has no name, he is reffered to as "The Narrator" in the script. In the book it's not mentioned either. He is reffered to as "Jack" though, because of his identifying with the "I am Jack's..." articles he reads and uses to describe his feelings. "I am Jack's Feeling of Rejection".

-Did Brad Pitt really chip his tooth?-

Brad Pitt chipped his front tooth during filming. He did not have the tooth capped until after the movie was completed because he felt it added to his character.

-What was the song that played at the end of the film, it's not on the soundtrack?-

"Where is My Mind?" by the Pixies.

-What's the deal with Starbucks® and the film?-

David Fincher has said that in literally every shot of Fight Club there is, somewhere in the frame, a cup of Starbucks.
In fact, Starbucks had no problem with being made fun of in Fight Club. Which is why they let Fincher use their name. But they finally had to draw the line in the coffee shop destruction scene. And so, when the giant art sculpture (the rolling ball) comes crashing through the front window of that cafe, you don't see a Starbucks sign anywhere.

-How do Tyler and Jack steal the fat in the book?-

Unlike the film, where they steal the soap from a plastic surgery clinic's dumpster, they steal the fat from Marla instead. She makes the mistake of keeping her mother's liposuctioned fat that she's saving for her own plastic surgery in the Paper Street Soap Company's fridge.

-Is all the anarchist stuff for real?-

Yes, although the publisher made him pull a "Macguyver" and change one ingredient on each recipe to keep them from working.
