Resident Evil Enemies
-Resident Evil
Zombies- Your most common enemy, the ugly old zombie. These things bite, puke, and lunge at you throughout Resident Evil. (aprox. 6 shots)
Cerebrus- Bad doggy, bad! These are the nasty little, or not so little Dobermen. They aren't very dangerous, but can be pesky at times. Preferred weapon: handgun. (aprox. 4 shots)
Crows- These crows peck at you like you'd expect, and usual follow in flocks. You can use your handgun on them or just run past them. (aprox. 7 shots)
Spiders- I'm not a huge fan of spiders, and these things especially don't appeal to me. Big, furry, and hungry... Make 'em eat some buckshot from your shotgun. ( aprox. 8 shots)
Bees- Bees can be really annoying cause of the poison they sting you with. Just move fast when you're near these things and you should be in good shape. (1 hit w/ all weapons)
Hunters- The combination of a lizard-gorila can make for a tough kill. One of the most popular (hah!) enemies from RE. A shotgun is a good weapon for the hunters. (aprox. 6 shots)
Plant 42- With all its tenticles, Plant 42 can be a pain in the but. But if you work it side to side (the plant that is) you should be able to use a smaller weapon such as your shotgun or beretta on it. The v-jolt really takes the kick out of this thing. (30 bullets, 12 shotgun rounds)
Chimeras- Found in the lab, the chimeras are quick and have two forelimbs which attack with no mercy. Really you shouldn't have to fight these things. They hang from the ceiling and when you can see their shadows, hold up. As they get further away move. Using the python, bazooka, or rocket launcher is your best bet if you fight (aprox. 4 rounds w/ Colt, 3 w/ Bazooka))
Snake- You'll face this thing twice and it doesn't seem to like you either time. Some kinda acid rounds work best, but use whatever is available. He's slow so use that to your advantage. (aprox. 6-7 rounds
Sharks(Neptunes)- Only found in the basement of the guardhouse the sharks. Only the large sharks can kill, but the little ones are annoying. Drain the water out of the basement and pump 'em with buckshot. (aprox. 2 shotgun rounds)
Tyrant- The mother of all mothers. You MUST be prepared to fight him, or you're going down fast. It's obvious that you'll need to equip whatever your best weapon is. Bazooka, Colt Python, Rocket Launcher. Use a run-and-shoot method to take him out. Don't get pinned in the corner or stay in one place very long. If you manage to keep moving, you stand a good chance of beating the tyrant and the game.
-Resident Evil 2
Zombies
I guess you could call these things the default enemy for RE2, cause you'll see them so much. Two basic types are the male and female, but you'll also see the skinless, puking zombie.
Cerebrus
This kind of dog has been brought back from RE to attack and is just as easy as it was in the first game. Don't get very worried if you see one.
Licker
A lizard-like beast the licker is an enemy you'll see often. It can be difficult to kill at times depending on what your weapon is. There is a quicker, more advanced form of the licker in the later parts of the game.
Spiders
These hairy, nasty and not so little suckers drop from the ceiling and pester you. Who likes spiders? I don't and that's why I like to take them out out fast with my shotgun. (These suckers are bigger than they appear.)
Alligator
The alligator is big, but pretty easy to kill if you use a larger weapon on it. Its size is intimidating. Don't be afraid.
Moths
There's only one of these strange things, located in Umbrella Labs. It's not to hard to take care of and isn't to mobile.
Plants
Plants can be a pain in the butt because of their combined effectiveness. They can walk and shoot acid at you. Don't get too close or they'll grab you. Weapon wise use a penetrating type weapon, definitely not a weak handgun.
Crows
These things are a lot easier than in the first one. They can still peck your eyes out, but if you move fast they're not likely to do much damage.
Mr. X
A strange guy Mr. X. will follow you continually throughout both Leon and Claire's 2nd scenarios. After you think you've killed him, he pops back up from the dead. Each time you kill him he gives you handgun bullets.
Mr. X (Tyrant)
After thinking you've seen the last of Mr. X, guess what? He's Back! And this time he's not gonna be so nice. Looking much like RE's Tyrant, the final Mr. X is on fire and looking to kill.
Mutant (William Birkin)
You'll face many different mutated versions of the former William Birkin. Each new form gets stronger and stronger. Strong firearms will be the only way to beat him.
