Resident Evil Enemies
-Resident Evil 3
Zombies- Your most common enemy, the ugly old zombie. These things bite, puke, and lunge at you throughout Nemesis. They also come in different occupations, shapes, and sizes, much like the RE 1.5 zombies were supposed to have looked like.
Cerebrus- Friendly dogs... er, bad doggie! Anyways, you find a few of these guys roaming around looking for a new owner, which isn't you. Shoot 'em dead.
Crows- Don't bother wasting ammo on the crows unless they become a huge irritation. Probably the weakest enemy you'll face.
Giant spiders- They're big hairy, and crawl on the ceiling, trying to surprise you. Don't fall victim to a giant spider.
Sliding worm- If one of these worms latches onto your back, use the dodge button to remove it. They don't do a whole lot of damage, and you only find them underground. Try to avoid them.
Brain Sucker- While it walks on six legs, the brain sucker can stand up and attack. Grenades and shotgun shells work quite well on this fella.
Hunter Gamma- Not a whole lot like the original Hunter, the Gamma can't take you out with it's fore claws, but is a better jumper, and a lot slimier. The best weapon for these suckas would be your shotgun.
Grave Digger- Although there's only two of these guys, they aren't friendly and will make you a nice grave (and put you in it). Avoid the first one, and don't go for the kill with the second one. Hit him with enough to get by and run!
Hunter Beta- A mutated form of the original Hunter, these do have strong claws. Grenades are best on the Betas.
Drain Demons- Another six-legged monster, they go all over, hanging on ceilings, clinging to wall, all in order to get their positioning right to move in for the kill. Again, your shotgun or grenade launcher works well.
Nemesis- He hunts and stalks you throughout the game, with a fury never seen from an enemy of this size before. You have two choices each time you meet him: run or fight. Depending on how you want the ending to change, you have
Nemesis Blob- The final version of good 'ol Nemmy, and this time he's hardly recognizable. Depending on what decision event you've picked, you may just get to blow him apart w/ no opposition.
-Resident Evil CODE: Veronica
Zombie
Seven different zombies roam and groan Rockport Island. You'll encounter graveyard zombies, zombies in tombs, police officers, workers, soldiers, and ones controlled by Albert Wesker. Zombies are best killed by either your combat knife or your Glock 17.
Cerberus
Doberman pinchers are back... at least what's left of them. For some reason they seem to take a bit more ammo than in the past, but still handgun/bow gun material.
Albinoids
Electro-shocking salamanders which come in two forms, a baby and an adult. Adults can cause serious damage, while the babies merely give you a small jolt. Enough hits from a baby though, and you can start losing health.
Bats
Pesky like crows in the past, but the bats won't bite you or come close if you have your lighter equipped.
Hunter/Sweeper
These hunters are just as strong as the originals, and you have to avoid sensory cameras set up by big Gay Al (Wesker).
Bandersnitch
Take a tyrant and replace his mandible claw with an elastic arm that takes your head and tries to squish it, and you're dealing with the bandersnatch. Sometimes you can avoid them, if not, use your double uzis or handguns.
Gulp Worm
Not the same worm you've seen in other games, but this one isn't as hard either. Just run by him and you shouldn't have any problems. Rodrigo, well... running won't work for him.
Moth
I had trouble shooting them cause of the camera view and how they fly around. I tend to take the strategy to run and dodge them, but if you get a clear shot, take it. Easy to kill, tough to beat. If infected, you have to wait for their larva to break out and then you'll grab them off your back. Then use the blue herb.
Giant Spider
Sometimes the black widows can sneak up to you around a corner or drop down from an unsuspecting ceiling. Always be on the watch for them in halls, and if you're bitten, make sure to get a blue herb, because they are poisionous.
Nosferatu
Formerly Alexander Ashford, Nosferatu is a test subject for Alexia's Veronica virus. He's been locked up for over 10 years and isn't too happy when he's released upon you. Don't take him lightly, and avoid his poison. The assault rifle is handy on him also.
Tyrant
I personally find this Tyrant to be stronger in all areas than Nemesis or RE's Tyrant. I think that if he followed you around more, this would be more evident, but he's certainly cooler looking. Don't be fooled though, he throws a bloody claw like no other. Use your surroundings to take him out and move on to disc 2.
Alexia
She/it comes in three distinct forms that get bigger and badder each and every time. She's the final monster, one version featuring spitting fire, which you DON'T want to do. Stand back, take quality shots, and be patient. Version 2.0 features a blob of a mountain which fires poison at you, along with small creatures that annoy the hell out of you when you're trying to take her out. The winged Alexia is easy to kill: one shot with the linear launcher. So hang tough with the first two (easier said than done, and you'll be rewarded with a nice big gun).
