Analysis: Little is known (that I know) of Trowa's past. I know that Trowa was raised by a group of mercenaries. When they all died, Trowa went to another mercenary camp where he learned how to fight, pilot, and fix things as a mechanic. After the mercenaries he worked as a mechanic for the Barton family. The REAL Trowa Barton was going to pilot HeavyArms but H shot and killed him. Trowa witnessed this and said he would except the mission to pilot the Gundam as well as the now-dead man's name since he didn't have one. Trowa is the silent, brooding type in my opinion. Although he's very smart, he keeps quiet and only speaks when he feels is necessary. He's an excellent pilot and mechanic and works at the circus with Catherine when he's not on a mission. He's very close friends with Quatre, the fourth Gundam Pilot. He also plays the flute.
