The Story Thus Far...

This work-in-progress began in March 2000, and we've been updating regularly.  Below you will find a short description of each snippet; simply click on the name to read the story.  Basically, each snippet is an installment in one long story, which we have now named "Generation of Rebels."  GOR is best read in order.  Feedback is always welcome.  Enjoy!

Story Ratings:  Unless otherwise indicated, all stories are rated G and kid-safe.

Snippet 1:

Written by Padawan Providence. This is how it all began.  Qui-Gon returns to the Temple after a long journey, and he meets a young child having nightmares.

Snippet 2:

Written by Master Maverick. The young child Qui-Gon met several months ago has fallen ill, and Qui-Gon discovers he may be the boy's only hope.

Snippet 3:

Written by Padawan Providence. Although nearly a year has passed since their last encounter, Qui-Gon will reunite with Obi-Wan in an unexpected way when a fire strikes the Creche.

Snippet 4:

Written by Master Maverick. Follows right after Snippet 3; Qui-Gon gets a roommate in the form of 4-year old Obi-Wan.

Snippet 5:

Written by Padawan Providence. So the Padawan jumped ahead to Obi-Wan at age 18... a look at things a little later in the future.  (This is the only time-line jump thus far in our series.)

Snippet 6:

Written by Master Maverick. Warning:  Rated PG for violence.  Picks up a few months after Snippet 4.  Qui-Gon runs into trouble while on a mission with Mace, and dire circumstances follow.  (As usual...)

Snippet 7:

Written by Padawan Providence. Qui-Gon gets his wings clipped after his last mission, and he finds an old friend, not to mention a new temporary career.

Snippet 8:

Written by Master Maverick. Qui-Gon discovers teaching is harder than it looks.  He also encounters some technical difficulties...

Snippet 9:

Written by Padawan Providence. Oddly enough, nothing very dire occurs.  Qui-Gon and Bel-San remember the good old days, and Obi-Wan teaches Qui-Gon a nature lesson.
