Age group: 2 to 5 years
Children of this age are receiving a rich planned curriculum that helps them achieving in all areas of development, effective supported by skilful nurses and a large range of equipment for both indoor and outdoor play.
Special educational needs are identified according to the nursery own policy and the partnership with parents is viewed as a major source of information about individualism and differences in children.
Special dietary needs are respected and catered for by weekly planned menus.
The potty training is an objective considered important for children's social independence and comfort and it is carried out appropriately, with parents' co-operation.
Children aged 3 to 5 years are consistently provided with the Early Years Curriculum by highly qualified nurses, in accordance with the government new founded stage of learning and the Local Education Authority requirements for specific skills and areas of development for this age group. The management and the implementation of this important provision in the nursery was appreciated in all OFSTED inspection reports. A school education grant is accessed by parents for each school term week, during the school year. They are supposed to top up the nursery fees for a full time place for the rest of the time.
