Chakra Tuning
A chakra is a non-physical center of energy from which that which is physical manifests.  Imagine a funnel-shaped vortex of energy with its point inward toward the body and the funnel pointing outward. There are seven main ones lined up along the spine and up to the top of the head and they are numbered from the bottom up. The first is at the base of the spine. Its funnel expands downward between the legs. The second is just below the navel. It has both a front and a back, each with its point on the spine and the funnel extending horizontally. The third is above the navel; it also has a back and a front. The fourth is at the level of the heart; it has a back and a front. The fifth is at the throat; it has a back and a front. The sixth is between and just slightly above the eyebrows; it has a back and a front. The seventh is at the top of the head, with its point on the crown of the head and its vortex expanding upward.
There are four different but interrelated aspects to each chakra: color, vibratory frequency, sound, and direction of spin. The colors, as I have seen them are, from the 1st chakra on up:

· 1st  = cherry red, like a stoplight
· 2nd = tangerine orange
· 3rd = buttercup yellow
· 4th = emerald green, although some children and teens show pink
· 5th = bright neon blue
· 6th = dark purplish blue, like the skin of a Concord grape
· 7th = sparkling white
The vibratory frequency appears to be determined by a combination of the color and the sound of each chakra. They rise in frequency from the bottom to the top.
The chakras alternate in direction of spin:
·
1st = counterclockwise
2nd = clockwise
3rd = counterclockwise
4th = clockwise
5th = counterclockwise
6th = clockwise
7th = counterclockwise
.
I tune the chakras from the first on up.  I find in the tuning that when the color has been adjusted correctly, the other aspects will generally fall into line. In extraordinary circumstances I may need to adjust one of the other aspects of a chakra separately. An incorrect spin direction can really make a person feel dull and out of sorts, but this is a relatively rare occurrence in my experience.
