To the next generation of hunters....

We aren't dead! The hunt has moved along and changed from what it once was, as is obvious if you're reading the chapters at this site. We veterans have decided that the hunt belongs to you now, and are quietly leaving and letting you all take over. We aren't gone forever though! We'll be dropping in for occasional cameos, and we promise we're still reading and trying to keep up. And we're still very much alive at TWC in general. We're very proud of you all for continuing on in the spirit of the hunt, and hopefully one day you all will have a new generation to urge on. Please email me for anything, even if you just want to say hi!

Lizard's Words of Jedi Wisdom-

Girls, you're oodles and oodles and oodles of fun, but this old veteran just can't keep up with you anymore. *cough cough* However, I strongly urge you to keep up the hunt! You are its future! You are PRESENT- Pretty Resilient Elf Seekers Entering New Time! :)  Er.. You don't have to call yourselves that, I'm just compulsive with acronyms... Sorry! Anyhow, here's all the advice I can pass down:

-Never fear to ask a vet for advice. We are crafty little chicas, and we're always glad to hear from you!

-Make trouble, then beat trouble, then party down! I find it's good to stick to the pattern. If you go trouble trouble trouble, it gets stressful and tiring. If you go party party party, it gets a little too relaxing and eventually, you run out of MC and THEN where are you?

-Look to the vets who stuck behind. Tinuvie, Kelsey, EK, elfcat, the FLs, Meneelda, and katietook... They've got that little extra experience of the original PEFing to draw on.

The last thing I want to say is that althought the vets have withdrawn, we're not gone for good. The new order has inherited Middle Earth because we know you can handle it! We know you'll do a smashing good job with the elves and I'm sure we'll be popping in. Keep on hunting! Go you, you're still the prettiest!

Hi girls.

I wish I knew some profound quote or obscure fact to say, but the truth is, I don't. I know for a fact that we are all going to miss all of you tons, and that we know you can keep up what we have started.

There comes a time when things have to change. You don't know how, you don't know when; they just do. But that change isn't always bad.  Change can be a catalyst for great things!! And we know that the elf hunt will be great with you girls at the helm!

And just don't forget how this all started . . . a bunch of goofs out to have fun. Roll with it, and have a blast!! Seize the day, because it's yours now.

Hey girls!

Wanted to let you know that I think you all have been doing just fine on your own. We didn't want to just drop out of sight, which is why we came back to do Revolution. That was to let you know that we will all always be hunters, no matter what, and you never know who may be dropping in from time to time. We aren't disappearing, either. We are still on the boards, involved in other collaberative writing projects and silliness.

Don't leave just because some of us have run across problems in keeping up with the hunt. You are those we have left the Elf Hunt to. It is our legacy to you.

We older hunters have seen much change in ME. Now, we leave it, all the problems and joys, to you younger girls. Enjoy what you can make of it. Make it truly your own.

Never fear. We will pop in from time to time. But, as has been happening the last few weeks, we won't be contributing everyday. You have been doing fine without us.

The hunt does *not* have to add 3 pages every day. At first, it was only a page every 3 days or so. Keep up the spirit of the hunt.

Expect me when you see me.
