BLAH BLAH BLAH! I'm a long winded person. Well, welcome to the introduction page! I'd first like to start with WORDS OF WISDOM FROM ELFIE! This is mostly aimed at 12 year old kids. That's right you're kids. It's not just cuz I'm old that I'm saying that. I still thought of myself as a child at that age. Mostly what I want to point out, is I'm an adult, and yes I collect toys. I still PLAY with my toys. I still PRETEND, but at this age we give it the technical word of "Role Playing." There's nothing one has to be ashamed of about this either. Lots of young people are in a hurry to grow up. Now I'm not saying be like me and make the attempt to NEVER grow up, because I'm afraid it doesn't work. Mostly what I'm saying is don't lose all that you had over the years. You don't have to trade in your toys, for a car. Why do that when you can have the best of both worlds? I enjoyed my childhood. I enjoyed being a teenager. And I'm now working on enjoying adulthood. I have my own truck, AND I still have my toys! Don't work forever to get to a certain age and when upon reaching it, spend the rest of your life trying to stay that age. Broaden your horizons and enjoy the whole span of a lifetime. Take the blinders off, and look at the whole beautiful picture. You can have the wisdom of an old person, and the giddy happines of a little kid. With that all said, I've pretty much mentioned that I still have pieces of my childhood lying around. It all started when I was very young, and my oldest brother bought me Posey. I don't know if it was for a birthday, or for christmas or whatever, because I've had her for as long as I can remember. Since, I've always loved My Little Ponies. I was pretty proud of my herd when I was a child, because compared to my friend's herds, it was quite large. As time went on I've discovered that my herd is actually small lol! Well, when I was around the age of probably 10 or 11, ponies died off, and could no longer be found in stores. Thus no more collecting of the ponies. Doesn't mean I liked mine any less! Around when I was in high school a second generation of ponies emerged, and I collected a few again! Then yes as happened before, ponies disappeared. For the third time now, Ponies reemerged in year 2003, for their 20th anniversary! And on christmas I got my first third generation pony, Kimono. Out of boredom I went on e bay, and discovered vintage ponies which I loved as a child. This spurred to looking up websites and discovering a whole on line Pony Community. Thus the creation of this site! Now if you've taken the time to read all that! CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'RE AWESOME! Lol! Sorry I don't have a prize for you! Back To Mane Page |
