As Alkaline Trio's third fuill-length and their first on major label Vagrant Records entitled "From Here To Infirmary" they have gotten more and more credit but some may think from the wrong people. After moving to Vagrant, MTV quickly got notice of their being and gave them a shot for video for their single on the album, "Stupid Kid." Not exactly thier best song, but I guess MTV has their regulations or something.

Dashboard Confessionals' second full-length, "The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most," has brought Chris Carraba farther than he thought he'd ever go. Chris' former band, Further Seems Forever, was well-known as being one of the greatest emo bands of today. Chris probably has more fans than he did when we was in his band.

Hey Mercedes, 3/4 of the former band Braid, has put out their first album, "Everynight Fire Works," and has had a great deal of success. I dont think they were planning on becoming so well-known throughout the scene. Great lyrics and unbelievable guitar work. A great piece of music in my collection!

Mustard Plug has done it again. With this amazing album, "Big daddy multitude." Their great ska sound and vocals have measured up to what they are known for. Catch 22 was ahead of this, until i discovered the album i thought was from 2001 was actually from 1999. Great album

Osker, one of the greatest punk bands of today. Osker without hesitance says whatever they want when talking about  government, life, love, the usual. There second album, critics say not as good and emotiuonal as the first, but I dont care. Osker has the best sound of any punk band today, and the vocals are tremendous! A must for any emotional punk collection.

No Motiv...Great band. Great songs. No Motiv is the definition of emo punk. You wont go wrong with this album. Most albums as you know have highlighted points and songs, but not this ablum. the entire album is a highlight. You wont be bored. Again, just like osker, critics say this album is not as emotional as their past releases. They dont know what they are talkiing about. Get this. it is a must. I just bought all 3 albums!

Yellowcard, is an upcoming underground band outfit from Jacksonville, Florida. Off of Lobster records, this album "One For The Kids" is great emopunk. Great vocals and guitar. This shows us that there are still kids growing up on emo and emo isnt about to die down. With the next generation into skateboarding and posing, emo will always stay true to its roots if we have more and more bands like this.

Saves the day, "Stay What you Are" is emo. No questions asked, it is emo punk. their first album was pretty much punk with a emo touch, but this album is emo with a punk touch. Just like Alkaline Trio and the story for most bands, sign to bigtime label, and get recognized by the public and tv networks such as CBS Craig kilbourn late Night and MTV. They made it and im happy for them. This album never leaves my 5 disc cd player.

Thursday, another emo outfit makes the cut! "Full Collapse" has been recieved by many different crowds. Emo crowds, punk crowds, and rock crowds have all given this band the credit they deserve with 5 stars for this album on interpunk.com. Playing with bands such as Hey Mercedes, Thursday has been around for awhile and has always been great. All of their albums are must buys and this is just another. This band from New Jersey has that way of grabbing whoever is listening by the heart and stuffing emotional lyrics into it and making you speechless. Few bands can do that.

The Casualties, that punk band that your mom is scared of has done it once again. This awesome 100% pure punk rock album has left critics speechless and in awe. "Die hards", on of my favorite punk albums now does not leave anything out. Honestly, I dont have much true punk rock merchandise in my collection but this makes up for everything that I miss out on.
