Tank:
Size: 10 Gallon
Temp: 70°F
Ph: 7.4
Lighting: 15 Watt Aquagro

The tank gets about a 40% water change ever other week and gravel cleaning. At that time I add liquid fertilizer. I use Florapride.

For my substrate I use small pebbles with laterite.

The filter for this tank had to be a submersible, because of the water line being about 3" from the top. I narrowed it down to two filters, the Fluval and a Duetto filter. I chose the Duetto DJ100. The reason for my choosing this filter was because it had a prefilter, a bacterial sponge, and a small place to put carbon. The Fluval only had a sponge. I actually cut some of the sponge in the Duetto Filter and placed ceramic beads for bacteria to grow on in the filter. This filter gets cleaned once a month.

I have the following plants in this tank; Egeria densa, Ceratophyllum demersum, Cryptocoryne wendtii, and Rotala rotundifolia.
