After my initial exchange with the alleged larcenists
(John Murray & Cohorts),
I decided to further unveil their unscrupulous
practices by fomenting and executing
another reverse scam against these
individuals. This plan involved setting up a Yahoo
email account using a
fictitious name (Charles Glen Reisman a.k.a "Chuck
Reisman".)
I began the scam by sending the same winning lottery
notice email back to the contact
email address (lottery_winner_confirmation@indiatimes.com) using the new email account
chuckreisman@yahoo.com .
In other words - the fictitious Chuck Reisman received the
same winning email
notice and with the same numbers that I had won with - would also try
to win
the Spanish lottery. Amazing - what are the odds of that (999 Trillion to
one).
Just Like I figured - I received an email from
"Lottery Confirmation" stating that
Chuck
Reisman won too. Chuck was directed to contact John Murray at
Keepers Security
<safekeeper_wld@yahoo.com.
This is the first letter that Chuck Reisman received
from Mr. Murray. (Please note some
of the information has been altered from
the original content.)
Dear Sir
If you want to process your winning, then we need to send you
by fax,the payment
processing form.
Based on this please provide your
fax number, after providing your fax on geting the form
call me on 34 619 520
130.
thanks
John
Chuck responded:
John,
We don't have a fax over here - not for the residents
anyway. I live at one of those nursing
homes - you know what I mean. the
secretary (Jackie) said she would let me print a email
and resend it to you.
It has to be through email only.
Where the heck are you guys located
anyway? I'm in Fairfield - North Carolina. Telephone calls are
out of the
question - I can't call anybody.
Chuck did not receive a response to this letter - not for
several
days in fact. So He wrote John the following.
John,
I really really don't have access to a fax. Everybody thinks I'm
damm foolish at the
Fairfield Pavilian. Even my daughter is angry at me cause
I lost my safe deposit box key
this week - the bank wants 35 dollars to
replace it. If I really won - why won't you work
with me over here? I'll pay
you from the winnings. Please have mercy.help me.
Thanks
Again - Chuck received no response to his letter pleading
for
assistance. So he wrote John Murray one more time begging
for the
Security company to assist him.
Dear John of Grupo Seguridad,
I feel so terrible. All my money is in
my safe deposit box - several thousand in fact. To
send or receive a fax down
at the Mail Plus store costs five dollars. Here at the Fairfiield
Pavilian no
one will do me any favors. Im so depressed. My social security money goes
to
the Pavilian along with my dignity.
Again my daughter is not going to
give me the money - she doesn’t care. She asked me if
I have any money in my
checking account - I said No - I put it all in my safe deposit box.
She
thinks I’m a damm fool. I told her my bank allows you to keep a zero balance
on
your checking - she said “but you get no Interest Stupid.” I told her that
I never said I
was Albert Einstein. But at least if the bank goes under - the
money will be safe. I can’t
believe her some days. In 71 years - I never won
anything. Look I’m being really sincere
with you.
I appreciate your
companies assistance.
Chuck Reisman
Finally John Murray responded to Chucks pleading.
From: keepers security <safekeeper_wld@yahoo.com> wrote
Dear
sir
After what you said please how can we help
then.
Thanks
John
Chuck was delighted and wrote back.
John,
Thanks so much for your understanding. Send the payment
processing form to my email
address - the secretary over here will print it
up and somhow send it back to you by
attachment.
Thanks
John Murray jumped through his first hoop - he sent
Chuck
Reisman a payment processing form as a "Word Pad "
document in an
email attachment.I'm sure this involved at
least a little time on his part.
Chuck returned the filled in form
with false banking information and sent the
information back
to John Murray. Chuck then received the following email
from
John Murray.
Dear Sir
Based the form you sent back, please find more
inforemation.
1) Please note our part is to act as your processing agent
to help you process payment
from the lottorio company wich is elgordo, before
the paying bank credits your account.
2)The condition is that the payment
processing form will be sent to you via email as
attacment or by fax,you will
complete and send send back fore processing.
3)The comapny, fore helping
your process and payment has 5% of your total winning
price money, when you
get paid, before then to start the payment processing you will pay
the
processing fee of 1850 euros this will fercilitate the initial
processing.
4)This processing fee is to complete the payment
processing,then on recieving your

MURAY
Chuck wrote John Back
John,
I read your letter - I think I understand - it makes enough
sense to me. What I dont know
is how much 1850 euros are in US dollars. How
do I send the processing fee to the
security company?
Again - I have
to pay my bank 35 dollars to get a new safe deposit box key. That's where
the
money is at. THey have many duplicate keys they told me at the bank - but they
won't
let me in my box until I pay them first. Just Crazy. Right now I have
15 dollars in my
pocket - I'll ask around about borrowing the rest from
somebody over here. But it does
not look good. ( My daughter is out of the
question - she'll just criticize me again. )It's not
like these oldies over
here have any money anyway - some of them are wearing baby
diapers. I don't
walk too well and that's the extent of my problems.
I have a son in
Washington - we're on better terms. He needs just about every dollar for
his
family - he's got four kids. I don't know if he lost his job? I asked him about
it a week
ago but he wouldn't tell me a thing. He wanted me to move to
Seattle to live near him.
That was a few months ago. But things have changed
- at least temporarily he says. I've
>been living in North Carolina for 42
years - raised my kids here and everything. My Wife's
buried at the local
cemetary.
This might be kind of forward of me and I apologize - but if
you could send me 20 US
dollars then I could get the money for the processing
fee the same day. How do you
tranfer and send money at your company?
Chuck did not receive a response for about
two days. So he
decided to send John the
following letter:
Hello John,
After I didn't hear from you - I did everything I could
and pulled a few strings - I got the
money for the safe deposit box key from
an old friend.
I can do business with the security company now. I went
ahead and deposited money
into my checking account.
What do I need to
do and how much in US money does it require?
John Murray
immediately wrote back.
Sir
I traveled out for an official assignment that was the delay in
repling you,note the
processing fee is 1552 dollars.
I hope the
processing form has been sent to you, please give the tell to reach
you.
Thanks
JOHN MURAY
Chuck wrote him back.
John,
As I said before - residents can't make phone calls over here.
That's the Pavillion's policy.
The secretaries won't even take a message from
someone calling unless it's an absolute
emergency from a family member.
Visitors can come by anytime - by walking in.
So how do I send you the
money?
Thanks
John responded:
Dear Reisman
I got your mail, please send the processing fee to our
financial department in germany via
money gram money transfer or western
union money transfer to attension the sinior
finance officer.
MR.
EDWARD MCANITONEY
SUITH 371 16 FELDONSTRASEE
BERLIN
GERMANY
After sending funds please send transfer information to this
email or call me on 34 619
520 130.
Thanks
JOHN
MURAY
Chuck decided to make John wait a little so he didn't
reply
immediately. Chuck received another letter from John.
Dear Charles
I have sent the information yesterday,i hope you received
it
Chuck Responded to this letter:
Hi John,
I just had a chance to get into the office over here. I got
the address of that guy in Berlin
(McAntoney). Is it OK to send him a bank
check in the mail? Does it have to be
moneygram or western union cause I’ve
never done that before.
John responded:
Dear Charles
The money should be sent by western union or money gram
only,we cannot go into long
process of check now, please use the requested
arrangement to send the money.
Thanks
JOHNNA MURRAY
Chuck responded:
Hi,
John,
I'm going to go to the mail plus store tomorrow and
see if they have Western Union or
something equal. Their store is right next
to the Pavillion - I can't travel anywhere else
unless my daughter helps me -
we'll see tomorrow.
John responded
Dear Charles
Please you should avoid delay
JOHN MURRAY
Chuck wrote him back the next day:
John,
The mail plus store didn’t have western union or other money
services. I convinced a
friend of mine to take me on Saturday to a place that
has western union. That’s the best I
can do over here. I’m not going to tell
my daughter a thing anymore - .
As I said before - I’ve never sent western
union. I’ll let you know when the money has
been sent.
John Responded:
Dear Charles
waiting
thanks
John
Chuck didn't respond. Not for several days
in fact - he was
long over due.So John wrote
the following:
Dear Charles
I havent got the information as promised by your
side,what is the delay.
THANKS
JOHN MURRAY
