ACHIEVEMENTS

1- leading seismological studies carried by EGSMA & representing the organization for the program Reduction of Earthquake losses in the Eastern Mediterranean region (RELEMR), since 1993.

2- Supervising field parties for ground water prospecting.

3- Supervising aerogeophysical surveys for minerals, ground water and petroleum prospecting.

4- Supervising ground follow up projects applying geological-geochemical and geophysical techniques for mineral prospecting.

5- Supervising well logging parties for mineral and ground water applications.

6- Development of interpretation techniques of geophysical methods of prospecting.

7- Leading and supervising computerized processing and interpretation of geophysical geological and geochemical projects.

8- Planning and supervising the activities of geophysics department at the Egyptian Geological Survey and Mining Authority since 1986.

9- Leading and supervising geotechnical field for new cities & engineering projects.

10- Training of EGSMA staff and Eastern Mediterranean Regions in the fields of seismology & other branches of geophysics.

11- Discovery of large extensions of iron ore deposits in Bahariya Oasis where previous geological geophysical and drilling works decided that no ore are there.

12- Discovery of polymetallic sulphides in Wadi Murein area (Eastern Desert- Egypt)

13- Discovery of groundwater field at a depth of one km at Siwa Oasis ( Western Desert- Egypt) and it is producing now.

14- Establishment of Egyptian Geological Survey home page and local area network.
