THE HISTORY OF ME
I'm from California, and just made the move to Portland, Oregon. My dad put me onto the Foundation series in fifth grade and my grades immediately plummeted, while my actual intelligence grew. I spent all of my time in High School reading Niven and Pournelle, and later trying to write science fiction. Thats where this setting and the basics of the game mechanics took shape; when I was supposed to be listening to my math teacher. I took the California Proficiency Test to graduate a year early and moved out on my own, with a hundred dollars, to Santa Maria, CA. After six months without having managed to find a way to make enough money to go to college I decided to join the Army. I graduated top of my class, but without honors because I broke too many rules, from the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare center and school at Fort Bragg, NC. I'm currently in the reserves, going to Korea once a year to practice being a liason between infantry commanders and the Korean populace. I'm looking to give the electrical union, or bartending, a shot in Portland before finally going to a real college. I recently had the equation for escape velocity tattooed on my left arm.
