A Warning to the United States
and a Word for Israel:



On the morning of, (08/15/02), President Bush gave a speech at Mt. Rushmore. Now just so you know: I don’t pick sides in the political arena. I am quite conservative, but when it comes to politics; both sides support the New World Order. Anyhow, I noticed that behind the President they had set up a large picture of Mt. Rushmore, (in other words), an “image.” All of us Americans know that Rushmore is the sight of a great carved or “graven image of stone,” carved out of the side of the mountain. It has the images' of four great men from our historys' beginnings, and it is a venerated sight, (and tourist attraction), in this country. What astonished me though; while watching the President’s speech; was that at the bottom of the TV screen, the news channel I was watching was flashing interesting facts about Mt. Rushmore. And as I was reading some of them, lo and behold, a fact came up that shocked me:It said; “The carving at Mt. Rushmore is about 60 feet high.”
I nearly fell out of my chair! Here we have the leader of the most powerful nation on earth, (at this time anyways), standing in front of a great 60 foot high, graven image; talking about peace in the middle east; and the war to oust Saddam from Iraq, (the modern kingdom of Babylon)!
Now this has serious implications for our country, many of us understand the significance of the number 60:

KJV Daniel 3:1
1.  "Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon."
Threescore is, of course, 60! This "image" that Nebuchadnezzar had set up was also 6 cubits breadth, this number ties it to Goliath the Philistine and the AntiChrist number, 666:

KJV 1 Samuel 17:4-8
4.  "And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
5.  And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.
6.  And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.
7.  And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.
8.  And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me."

The prophecy of David and Goliath, (yes the typology is prophetic in nature), is expounded upon in:The Assyrian.

 G-d has forwarned us as to who will ultimately destroy Babylon, it will be “as G-d overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,” and remember; Yeshua met with Abraham on his way to “visit” those cities!
I humbly submit to you now what I believe is a warning to the United States:

KJV Jeremiah 50:41-45
41. “Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
42. They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
43. The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.
44. Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
45. Therefore hear ye the counsel of the L-rd, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them.”
Now I ask you; are we not planning to attack Iraq from Turkey? From the northern border of Iraq? Also from Jordan? Who is that Lion? Are we not a great nation "from the coasts of the earth?" In fact the greatest nation on earth according to President Bush? Who is the habitation of the strong? It is referred to here in the female sense, so I would think that it speaks of Babylon. Yet G-d says that he will make this great nation and coalition of kings, from the coasts of the earth, turn suddenly and run from Babylon! Why would G-d do this? He tells is in the text; “Who will appoint me the time?” In other words it is not G-d’s time! Babylon has an appointment with Jesus Christ. What is the next reason? The text also tells us that because of this attack G-d wants us to “Therefore hear ye the counsel of the L-rd.” And G-d proceeds to inform us that “Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them.”
What this is saying is that it is the right of the Messiah Yeshua to destroy Babylon and He will do so at the proper time. How many times did Jesus say to us in his word that the first shall be last? The last shall be first? The greatest shall be the least? The lessor shall become the greater? It is true that He was the “least” of the flock of his people while He was here on earth. He subjected himself to spitting, tearing out of his beard, tortures, beatings, and the death of a common thief or murderer. All because He loved us and He was obedient to his Father’s will.
Now if you think that I may be errant in this interpretation than let us look at another passage in the very next chapter of Jeremiah, which is still prophesying about the overthrow of Babylon.

Editorial Note -May 21, 2003: The "Battle" for Iraq is now almost over but Babylon never saw any fighting and therefore was not bombed or injured in the war. However, the US/UK coalition is likely to get bogged down in the Middle East, and even Pres. Bush has said that this was just a small battle in a greater war. Will the coalition be forced to turn and run? That remains to be seen; it's not over yet!

KJV Jeremiah 51:17-24
17. “Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
18. They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
19. The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and (Israel is) the rod of his inheritance: the L-rd of hosts is his name.
20. Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
21. And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;
22. With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;
23. I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces
captains and rulers.
24. And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the L-rd.”
So then who is the Portion of Jacob? If Israel is the rod of His inheritance, who is the Portion speaking of? The passage tells us that “the L-rd of hosts is his name.”
The question is answered by Lamentations 3:

KJV Lamentations 3:24
24. "The L-rd is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him."
This is none other than Yeshua the King! And the final thing that clenches this fact is the verse that says “for he is the former of all things.” Now what does “former” mean here? It doesn’t really matter if you think about it! If He is the former in the sense that He formed all things including the earth and heavens and mankind, then He was around at the very beginning! If He is the former in the sense that He was around always in former times, then He is the great “I am” and He created all things! This is why Yeshua said “before Abraham was, I AM.” According to this passage G-d the Father will use His Son to destroy nations and kings, people and things,
He is the battle axe and weapons of war in the hand of His Father!
Now the former verse that we read: Jer. 50:44-45 is also used in one other place
that I was able to find:

KJV Jeremiah 49:17-22
17 “Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the L-rd, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
19 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
(For a comprehensive understanding of this "lion" see: The four Horsemen. It is the same group of nations referred to in Ezekiel 38:13, Tarshish was Spain, and the British Isles. The young lions of Tarshish are the USA, Canada, and maybe Australia. Amazingly this is the same coalition that is now forming against Iraq!)
20 Therefore hear the counsel of the L-rd, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard
in the Red sea.
22 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.”
Basically the same passage but with Edom and Bozrah and Teman instead of Babylon! And who is it that will “come up and fly as the eagle,” and not only save His own, but destroy Bozrah, Edom, and Teman? The least of the flock! He has now sat down at the right hand of His Father and has been made the greatest of the flock. But He will be back soon:

KJV Habakkuk 3:3-11
3 “G-d came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
4 And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.
5 Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.
6 He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.
7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
8 Was the L-rd displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
9 Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
10 The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.”

KJV Isaiah 63:1-6
1 “Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness,
mighty to save.
2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that
treadeth in the winefat?
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.”
This is that appointment that I mentioned earlier; it is an appointment with Christ, (at His return), that He has made with Babylon, Edom, Teman, and Bozrah.
He will tread the winepress alone. Then after our L-rd Yeshua defeats our enemies, He will bring us into His Kingdom on earth.

KJV Revelation 19:5-13
5.  "And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our G-d, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
6.  And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the L-rd G-d omnipotent reigneth.
7.  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8.  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9.  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of G-d.
10.  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship G-d: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11.  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13.  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of G-d."

Notice that His vesture is already dipped in blood! The appointment has already been kept! And there are we: returning to this earth with our King!

The word I have for you, O Israel, is this: Trust not in allies like the United States to protect you, trust not in treaties with Egypt and Jordan. Trust in the L-rd your only G-d and hope! The living One of Israel, Yeshua; King of kings.
Isaiah 18: United States?
I thought it best to use the literal translation with Strong’s numbers in this instance because it clears up much confusion. For a long time this chapter was confusing to me until I saw this translation. I cannot help but notice that this portion of scripture comes adjacent to the destruction of Damascus in Isaiah 17, (another event that is near on the horizon). Much can be said about the fact that the orginal text did not have “chapter” breaks. Isaiah 17 and 18 could actually happen simultaneously. At any rate, both should take place before the final 3 ½ years of the 70th week of Daniel.
Those of you who have read the online book, (A Letter to the Shepherds), will understand that the first half of the 70th week is already complete; it was the 3 ½ year ministry of Yeshua. The second half is the great tribulation, or fall harvest, as mentioned in Revelation 14 and also in the parable of Christ about the harvest of the wheat and tares together. Just as Antiochus 4 Epiphanes was a “type” of the man of sin, so too was the Jewish-Roman war of 70AD a “type” of the last half of Daniel’s 70th week. The Jewish-Roman war actually lasted 3 ½ years; (it started in 66AD under Nero). But just before the fall harvest, when the sour grapes are ripening, Isaiah 18 says that a mighty nation beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, (probably the furthest extent of Isaiah’s travels), will meet its demise……..

What kinds of wings? What nation has more "whirring" wings than the US?
What nation has more envoys, (or ambassadors), than the US? Our envoys traverse the entire globe, and are constantly overseas!!
The message here is this: send those messengers back home with a message for their own country!
A nation of people "tall and smooth." Sounds like America: in fact, isn't there a height requirement to be a Hollywood model these days?
"Terrible from their beginning onwards" is what most translations say. There is only one nation in the world that this can still be said about...guess who!
What nation is more divided by rivers than the US?
Self explanitory, with the exception of the trumpet blast: it's a Shofar, and it is blown in times of war.
I believe that G-d took His protective hand off of this nation on Sept. 11, 2001. So in my view He is already resting and watching from His dwelling.

3 1/2 years of the 70th week of Daniel. And it would be JUST before that time because the grapes are ripening when this happens.
Our great nation will not be completely destroyed, just "pruned" and the branches removed.
Self explanitory.
When Christ returns our nation will bring gifts, or a gift, to Mount Zion, the place of the name of G-d.
