Frankie Update!

Frequent readers of Ellamania! are quite familiar of Frankie, Ella's twin brother.  Frankie, a homeless kitty advocate in SF, persuaded Abbie and Brian (his humans) to adopt Gomez, aka, Lil' Kitty, a homeless kitty himself.  Gomez loves reading Marmaduke and plays sand volleyball  in his litterbox in his free time. Commenting on his new sybling, Frankie said, "Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooowwrrrr!" And you know what? We couldn't agree more!

Gomez adjusts to the good life.  Upon hearing of Frankie's newest addition, Ella sent her brother a bag of Whisker Lickins.

While Ella has managed to hold the attention of the public for the past few years, that doesn't mean her big brother is any less talented. He just prefers to live his life a little bit differently.      Both cats were born in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco. Ella decided to move south, but Frankie's heart was in the City. So, he stayed close to home with his mother Abbie.

Frankie packs his bags for the Eukanuba 1 Day.  Cats from around the bay stood awake for 8 hours straight to bring awarness to flea collar injury.

Abbie Luber, Frankie's mom confides, "He likes to keep up with his sister. They talk about once a week. But, he's pretty busy himself. Frankie runs a free veterinary clinic in the Haight and is very active with community issues." Luber smiles as she speaks about her son. "He is constantly fighting for Feral Cats Rights... infact, he met with The Mayor Willie Brown just last week."
