Cultural Anthropology
Physical anthropology is the study of the diversity of the human body in the past and present.  It includes human evolution (in conjunction with primate evolution) and modern human variation.  Often, in at least introductory discussions, it also includes archaeology, which is the study of the diversity of human behavior in the past.  Archaeology investigates artifacts (pottery, tools, buildings, etc.) to learn about the lifestyles of past societies.
