NotTheNews
February
2005 Issue

It's a pleasure to get my act together once again and present you with the February issue; almost on time even! A special saludo to those new Yuca NotTheNews fans in Walnut Creek!

This imposing sculpture emerging from the ground is located at the entrance to Campeche when coming to town from beautiful cosmopolitan (um, not really) Lerma. The plaque reads 'the power of the people can achieve anything' or something equally inspirational and completely untrue. But the statue is impressive. The silly yellow flash is something I added in a fit of creative corniness.

Help Wanted - Writers, Artists, Cartoonists, Photographers

No pay whatsoever but what a great way to show your stuff to the
nine readers of this drivel! So far the response has been underwhelming to say the least... But there is an article by David Morgan on building a parking lot and Madariaga on interesting culinary musts on your next Merida visit.

Come on!
