The October 2002 Issue

The Isidore hurricane has come and gone, and Merida's populace has shown it's true colors. Whether or not you actually like those colors is your problem. In general, the people have been working hard to get things back in shape, but there is also a great majority who have been sitting on their butts waiting for someone else to clean up the mess for them. Those with money wait for someone brown to clean things up while they enjoy life in a hotel room, while the those with out wait for the government to clean up their mess.

No pay whatsoever but what a great way to show your stuff to the
nine readers of this drivel! So far the response has been underwhelming to say the least... But there is an article by David Morgan on building a parking lot and Madariaga on interesting culinary musts on your next Merida visit.
