My friends in Jakarta

Above were Nunuk and me in Jakarta, October 1998 Nunuk & I went to SMP** together, when we were about 12 yr old. We are still good friends today, many years later

I  know I should name them and I can do that for most of them.... but to honour the one or two that I could not recall their names, I shall just call them all my good old friends!! :P

**SMP stands for Sekolah Menengah Pertama, an Indonesian school program, perhaps equal to Junior High School? Normally for kids from 12-15 year old, it has 3 years program before one goes to SMA (Senior High?) for another 3 years, then when one can & willing to University for Heaven knows how long! Anyway, this was the system when I went to school in the 70s.
