| He's a cutie ain't he? Lol Dang that guy taking the picture. More concerned with gettin the dang trailer in the picture than Ted and I. Ah well.... *wonders how the pictures I took for THEM came out...hmmm* He's kinda...well ok he's not as short as I thought. I'm 5'9" and I was in flats. Such a normal lookin guy ain't he? Hot, sweaty, tired, and in jeans and a t-shirt :-) And still oh so cute ;-) |
| PHANTOM: Ted Keegan: Oooooo was he GOOD! I loved the way he portrayed the character. He was amazing. At times he was like a pouty child, others he was so tragically heartbreaking, scary[yeah he scaaaared me, i'll tell why in a sec lol], and just...wonderful! He had a fantastic voice. And his notes were so soft when they needed to be. And those hands!!! Ohhh WOW! He has amazing hands! And I liked the way he did not grope at Christine during MOTN and PONR. Instead his hands were very light and graceful. But his hands held so much power! So cool! The part where he was up in Apollo's Lyre was so heartbreaking and sooooo sad. And I was up close so I was able to see his face and just...wow it just made you want to take him in your arms and let him cry or something. Now to what scared me. His "You try my patience." Hot dang! The way he spat out the words "YOU...Try...My....Patience" and just glared down at her. Oooo....*shivers* But then when he lets her go at the end. It's so sad! He like doubles over, grabbing at his stomach, and then he keeps saying I love you Christine over and over and over again. And I know I complain about the Phantoms not catching Christine during MOTN, but I liked the way Ted reacted. When she fainted, he seemed to not know what to do with her. It was cool...never mind...lol And then during Don Juan, when she almost pulled the cloak away from him, right before she sings her lines, he seems to get rather nervous and anxious, ringing his hands in the cloak and rubbing them along his knees and stuff. Almost like he was rethinking, or wondering if he could actually pull this off. B/c after she discovers who he is, he goes off like he's about to leave and just give up. Oh, and i LOVED the way he reacted to Christine's kiss! With complete utter surprise. She was hugging onto him and he didn't know what to do with himself! His hands were just kind of there, not knowing what to do for once. Those are my thoughts on him! :-) |

| AHHHHHHHHHHHHH This totally just made my entire week!!!!! AAAHHH Me and dad stood outside the stage door. Ted was the last one out and it was just me my dad and these two girls that didn't even know who he was. They were waiting for the guy that played Piangi. *sighs* pooor ted....they asked him about someone else and didn't even realize who he was. tsk tsk...but it did finally click they were talking to the phantom. and they went nuts. Anyway, Ted thanked us for waiting there for him, then apologized b/c he hadn't had a shower yet. I wanted his autograph but didn't have a pen. Ted put his bags down and got into them and found a pen! Awww so sweet! My dad's like no no it's ok and i'm like DAD ...if he wants to get the pen...LET HIM GET THE PEN. So he got out this pen and I told him he can just sign wherevvvver he wants. But it was a gold pen so he signed the front of my playbill. Says : "All the Best Ted Keegan" And dad told him how I'm going to college to major in voice something or other. And I'm like...Dad it's musical theatre with a concentration in singing. And ted's all...they never get it right, do they? lol And he wished me good luck and said he hopes I have fun. Um then i left and we got the car and were driving it out of the parking garage and dad's like get the camera and go back out there. So i did. Lol and he was still out there talkin to some people and i went and stood over there and this guy comes up and is like can you take a pic of me and my friends with Ted? And i'm like sure if you take a pic of me and Ted. He said it's a deal. Well I ended up with like 4 or 5 cameras from this group of people Lol they all had me taking pics of them. One of their guys took a picture of me taking a picture of them. Then the guy took my camera and took a pic of me and Ted by the trailer thing. I was all wait don't move! I want a picture too. And ted's all I'm not going anywhere I'm staying right here. Lol So the guy took two pictures of me and Ted cuz Ted said take 2 just in case, and that other guy took a picture of me and Ted with his camera again Lol Hehehe...anyway it sooooo made my week!!! |
