Way back in the 80's I quit school after grade 10. (Little did I know how much easier it is for the brain to learn things at 16 than at 35)
Fastforward to April 1999...
With my daughter Brandi graduating in one year I decided that if I didn't push myself to go back to school now and beat her, I never would.
14 months and many essays and hours of studying later, I managed to finish 48 hours before Brandi's graduation ceremony!!
Woohoo! (but now what am I going to do with my time, and what excuse do I have now for not doing any housework??)

After Brandi's ceremony we snuck into the room with the gowns and stole somebody's cap and deked out the back hallway to get some 'together' grad pics.
I have no idea whose cap it was, and if you spent 15 frantic minutes looking for it, I apologize, but THANKS!
Had I known there was a dozen roses waiting at the end, I may have done it years ago!
This is actually a picture taken at prom, not grad (but she committed the unforgiveable and wore the same dress)
She did get a new corsage though (No one else had one like it!)
