eMedicine is one of the largest medical libraries on the net. The articles are very well structured and clear.They are written by renowned authorities in their fields. Although the articles, amongst several other things, are available for everybody, CME credits have to be prescribed for.

The following sites are entirely free-of-charge. The scientific material they offer is regularly updated. You have to initially register with the site you choose, before you can acquire CME credits. To qualify for CME credits, you'll need to read an article, get a pass mark of a following MCQ exam and answer some post-activity assessment questionnaire. You can view and print your certificate immediately. A personal record of yours will be kept in the site you have used as well.

The editor of this page is Dr Emad Roufail, MB,ChB, Alexandria, Egypt, 1984. Between February 1992 and August 1997, Dr Roufail had received training in General Medicine and its subspecialties including Geriatrics, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Renal Medicine and Medical Oncology in educationally-approved hospital posts in the United Kingdom. Between May 2000 and August 2005, he had held the position of Resident Medical Officer in the International Spinal Injuries and Rehabilitation Centre of the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, Aylesbury, United Kingdom. At present, Dr Roufail works as a Medical Registrar at Toowoomba Base Hospital; a secondary referral hospital serving Southern Queensland, Australia.
