Stuff I do in the winter
Snowmobiling
I spend a lot of time on the saddle of my '97 Arctic Cat ZL440.  It's been a very reliable sled so far, and right now it has about 5800 miles on the odometer.  As you can see I gave it a slight facelift over the summer, with the orange paint and custom graphics.  I also rebuilt the skidframe and went with an adjustable aluminum bodied rear shock for bump control duties.  I plan on making longer A-arms for the front end next summer.
Skiing - Snowshoeing
Both downhill and cross country skiing are good ways to help the 6 months of winter to pass by a little quicker.  Usually I ski at Marqette Mountain or Mont Ripley.  I'm anxious to try out the new hill in Copper Harbor as well, Mount Bohemia.  It's supposed to be a pretty cool place to ski.

Winter Carnival Snow Statues
Every winter Michigan Tech holds its annual Winter Carnival, and the biggest event during this time are the Snow Statues.  Take a look.
