Emall.ca makes it simpler than ever for web
shoppers
MONTREAL, CANADA – November 28, 2001. Emall.ca, announced today that the company has just launched its 50th site, making Emall.ca the first choice destination for Christmas shoppers in the U.S., Canada and the rest of the world.
The three-year-old shopping destination is continuing to prove that making it simple for the consumer to access the web’s best sites is the surest route to success.
According to Peter Maxymych, President of Emall.ca, thousands of web shoppers and surfers a month are using Emall.ca as their first choice for goods and services such as perfume, fine foods, gambling, dating, horoscopes and others. Emall.ca is gearing up for even higher traffic over the Christmas rush.
“Consumers looking for products, services and information on the net are faced with limitless choice,” Maxymych explains. “They’ve then got to do their own research to separate the good from the bad and the ugly, to find what they want and need. That can take hours. Emall.ca cuts to the chase.
“First, the names of our sites are intuitive, so you don’t even have to know about Emall.ca to get to it or to its individual sites that are part of it. You just type the domain name you’re your browser—Christmas for example—followed by the .ca suffix, and you go where you want to go automatically. Once you’re there, we simplify things further, by directing you to the pre-screened sites we know represent the best of the best, sites that are operated by our partners and others that we believe the webconsumer should know about. These include the big global brands such as Amazon, The Sharper Image and Expedia, and specialty outlets such as Shop NBC, Tabasco and Smithsonian Store”
Emall.ca currently has 50 web sites that link to hundreds of pre-screened stores and web services including Christmas.ca, Dating.ca, Bookstore.ca, Perfume.ca, Horoscope.ca, Casinos.ca and Vacations.ca. The company plans to add 15 more sites in the next month and has a roster of more than 600 top-level .ca domain names registered and ready to be developed by Emall.ca independently and with strategic partners.
