PROFILE

l will admit to being 30 something, but that's as far as l'm willing to give away. l am married to a wonderful and understanding husband who answers to the name Clive. l call him understanding because he doesn't hassle me when l come home with some new, little collection that has taken my fancy.

We have two adorable boys Robert (9) and Adrian (5).
l call them adorable because that is what mothers are supposed to say. In reality the descriptions are more like: exurberant, stubborn, rowdy, full of beans. Just your typical boys really. l love them dearly and they certainly keep me entertained. There is never a dull moment in the Cooper household.

INTERESTS

Let’s see....l think the first thing l started collecting as a youngster was stamps. After that, just bits and pieces. The collector's bug didn’t really hit me until Yowies came along. l have collected since the beginning slowly but surely, filling in the gaps.

l collect Pokemon and Dragonball Z for my two boys and Wallace and Gromit (for myself). l LOVE Wallace and Gromit, they are so cute!! Mondos.....well, l resisted them at first, but couldn’t help myself. They were there to be collected.

We’re a bit of a sporting family really. l have played tennis for a lot of years, and still play competition. Clive plays indoor cricket and lately has been bitten by the golf bug.

As for the boys, l try and teach them tennis so l can grow up to be one of those tennis mums that fly around the world supporting their kids. Hopefully I’LL be the one being supported. My hubby disagrees, he reckons that there is more money in golf.

When l actually asked Robert what he wanted to be when he grew up, this was his response. “Sorry mum, l don’t think that l will be a famous tennis player like Pat Rafter. l have decided to be a scientist instead. That way l can invent useful things”. Isn’t that just precious??!!

That’s about it in a nutshell. Oh..... and l DO work to fund these ‘habits’. I’m a Graphic Designer who sits on her bum all day, matching words with pretty pictures.
Believe it or not l used to be able to illustrate many moons ago. Here are just some examples of Maggie the artist in action.
Have a peek at some photos of the Cooper Clan. Now don't expect alot of yours truly!
