| May 11, 2003: Wow, ok, hi! Time flies. Let's see. My advice still stands with going to alancumming.com or theartparty.org for news or joining the mailing lists on yahoogroups.com. So Alan's Really in the media again, go him. Lil movie called X2 I suppose ;-) Well, I've had some updating requests and this is a big time for Alan, soooo.....ok, bear with me as I'll be slowly reorganizing everything Alan. May 12, 2002: Hello my lieblings. For those who have gone to my site for awhile, you probably have noticed that I'm more active with updating during the "warmer" times of the year. Basically, everything but winter. I just get easily down, and Alan just doesn't usually do much in winter, so.... Anyway, this is especially poignant since it has now been exactly a year to the day since I last saw the man in person. Sigh. I just registered for my very own webserver a few minutes ago, so expect to see the domain cabarethed.com/alanhomage coming very soon. Hopefully this will prevent the site from "shutting down" and stuff. Plus, I can host my other sites, so rock on to that. I have new ideas for the site, some new pictures, and some handy html skills. Look for that extremely soon. Once again, I hardly do the "upcoming news" thing with Alan. I put some items of interest on the bottom of this page, but I just don't have the patience to constantly be up on that. But who would know better than the man himself, right? So, I highly suggest going to www.alancumming.com/whatsnew.htm for the upcoming events, etc. I find the creativiy more fun anyway. To those who have wondered, yes I still idolize him and love him just as much as ever. I'm just not so um, how do you say...squealy...over him anymore. In other words, I grew up a lot this past year. And learned that celebrities are just people too, not invincible gods. I enjoy sharing stuff about them and unofficially promoting their goodness, so that's why I keep doing these sites. Plus they're fun. February 8, 2002: Wow, I updated for real! Ok, some new pix have been added to Misc., The Anniversary Party, and my Favorite Pix have been completely updated. I think the first one should be pleasing to the eye... January 31, 2002: It's official. His site says that he's never coming back to Cabaret. Ever. Ah hem...sigh, sniffle, sob, waaah, no fair. Ok, that's over with. But seriously, I totally understand his not wanting to be pegged as one character for the rest of his life. Shall his tombstone read, Auf Wiedersehn, a bientot, to the king of pelvic thrusts and glitter nipples? I think not. It just sucks for those who couldn't see him at all, so I say Roundabout releases an OBC dvd when Cabaret closes. Makes sense! Not like they'll be losing ticket money, just gaining dvd profit! January 10, 2002: Well hello all you beautiful people. No, the page really has not been neglected, Alan just hasn't done too much lately. His main site can pretty much tell you what he's up too on TV and all. He was in the end of year Out issue, pictures will be up soon, but they're not too different. I have some good ones from the web though. Just won Next magazine, where he interviews Liza. Of course, I have to pay for something that's usually free. Little CD news on bottom of this page. The Anniversary Party is coming out on DVD January 15! Go support this gem of a movie! Many big Alan sites have not resumed updating at all, some have even shut down. This is a shame, as there were so many gorgeous ones out there that helped ignite/fuel my love for the man. I know mine pales in comparison to those, but I'm still going with it. It's one of the biggest projects I've undertaken, one of my proudest, and no matter how household a name the man gets (at least I don't have to run down the *whole* filmography while describing him to others anymore), I still love him to pieces and want to spread that love. However, I'm also devoting time to my Cabaret, Matt McGrath, and John Cameron Mitchell sites Alan's is going to be spruced up though, and I just may be moving all of these on one server of my very own. These changes may not be happening immediately though- I just got over being sick, I have only a bit of vacation left, and then I'll be in school part time and work (hopefully) full time. Plus I *do* have somewhat of a life and like doing other things, ya know? My personal New Year (from last March 17, 1st DFL) will be coming around soon, so expect the Alan love to be rampant and emotional then. Wanna contact me? ok, but be gentle, I'm fragile. October 8, 2001: Advocate pic up. hehe, someone is really cabaret obsessed these days!!!!!!!!!!!! October 4, 2001: Alan's Emcee pix page is up! Lots are there, including the "new" Roundabout brochure picture, and all the pix from W magazine. October 2, 2001: Favorite Pix page completely updated. Finally, the Gap ads have gone up, along with 2 Movieline pics. By tomorrow night, all my Emcee pix will be back up, including a brand new one from the new Roundabout circular. Cabaret fans, there are new candids up in that site. September 19, 2001: ok, well, updates will resume soon. i hope all of you are well after this past week's events...damn, has it really been just over a week? of course, we all hope that alan is doing well if he was in NY at the time, which is very likely. i wish all of you well and to those who had to witness/be a part of this travesty our country is facing now, my heart goes out to you. i know that means nothing in the long run. I have been donating $ and supporting Broadway (since i couldn't give blood and can't get up to NY...those firemans families need help, focus donating $ on there too, as well as the Red Cross). this situation is just despicable. August 26, 2001: 2 recent Cabaret stories added. All 3 of Alan's Gap ads coming soon. August 16, 2001: New TAP picture, hooray. July 19, 2001: Poll added on front page, go vote! Ok, People, Flaunt, Premiere, and In Style pix have been added to Misc, and an Interview has been touched up. Every single Anniversary Party related pic is being moved to its own page, going up tomorrow, with a bunch of new ones. Cabaret is also in the process of being heavily updated, which started today. All of Alan's posed Emcee pix will be condensed onto one page, along with some new ones. The ones on the song pages are staying there (and they are there). This new page will be linked from both sites for convenience. July 7, 2001: Ok, riiight...how the hell did a month go by?!?! My apologies. I have a stack of pictures, so watch out. First I have to clean my room and see what I forgot to scan. A special Anniversary Party page will be going up. And I know I said this before, but Cabaret will most definitely be updated. I've seen it twice since May 27, and will be going back on Tuesday. So, 4 stories and plenty of new things will be up. Blah blah, sorry for the momentary laziness/depression. My bad ;-) June 6, 2001: Well, the main URL has changed. Finally! Please update any bookmarks or links, thanks so much :-) I have also made a special Josie page, with 3 new pix, and added a Company Man pic, both found in Work. June 1, 2001: Entertainment pic in Misc. May 29, 2001: 4 new pix in Misc-- 3 RES and one gorgeous Out, which is from the new book Backstage Curtain: Broadway and Beyond. Ok, well, Cabaret was damn near ideal and my story will be up verrry soon! Missed the Hugo Boss display since I'm retarded and went to the wrong Ave. Work is going to be majorly worked on soon, some new sections will be arriving in the near future. Plus, my personal is going to be updated very soon. Seeing Spy Kids for the 3rd time tomorrow, LOL!! May 26, 2001: Two Entertainment Weekly pictures, 1 Spy Kids pic (in Work). Alan's going to be doing a shitload of interviews for The Anniversary Party soon, including Conan on June 8 and The View on Wednesday. Sex and the City premiere coming up soon too! His website has been updated with all that kind of info. I'm seeing Cabaret again on the 27th, rock me, and I can safely guarantee that the page will be heavily updated. I'm also going to check out Alan's Hugo Boss window display while I'm there. May 17, 2001: Added IFC Rant and Elle pictures, and 1 new collage picture.-- UPDATE thanks to insomnia-- added 1 new Rare May 15, 2001: Well, DFL is over, sigh. LOTS of new candids and 2 new stories are up at DFL. I also have the cute pic of him from this week's issue of US Weekly up. School's done, time to pay attention again! April 30, 2001: Dammit, I have so many ideas for this site/project, and yet I have to do finals up till the 8th. well, tomorrow-friday are the crunch days, but still....grrrr. Anywho!!! Just for now, I have added a picture I forgot that I had from Premiere, and I have revamped the Titus page. April 29, 2001: Added 2 of the 12 Marie Claire pix. GO GET THIS ISSUE!!!! The pictures are legendary, as is the article. Frankly, I was into his writing more than the pix (trying to figure out who he reminds me of though). After taking a women's studies class all semester and writing a paper on body image, i have to give alan a huge round of applause for this article. April 27, 2001: Ok, major influx of pix in Misc., both new and revitalized 3 new Rare ones. Give me time to figure out this photo program i discovered on my computer, and this site will be rocking. oh yeah, to warn, when school ends in a week, i'll be making some changes. First of all, my main page link will turn to geocities, most likely. I don't like being dependant on my damn school. Plus, to save space and kind of separate my interests, my "Others" page will go under a brand new service, most likely Homestead. Alan and Cabaret will remain in its home. Sniffle...anyhoo! My Eclectic section will soon have an updates page of its own, but it's getting there! The Angelina Jolie and Jimmy Fallon (hotties) are practically finished. Cabaret will be totally worked on once I finish my story and reading the Making of book! Oh yeah, I've added a Stories section since Alan is now back on Broadway. Weeee!!! I've added some updates to Collages, Work, Links (his official site is up!), and a new Design for Living page. Take a look back really soon. January 28, 2001: Woo do the days go by!! I've worked on stuff, but I haven't published it all yet. Take a look around though. Alan stuff will come slowly as I go through my magazine pile. Plus, with Design for Living coming up... I'm probably changing my main page URL soon, so watch for that. I'm going to start focusing a lot on my mini pages too. Alan rules, but I do enjoy others too ya know! That is all separate anyway. I want to make a lot of updates to Cabaret and share my experience there too. Right now I'm in my junior year of college full time, am taking care of my parents (those I talk to understand), work part time, and am trying to maintain some kind of social life along with my hobbies. So....I do try my best with this! Oh, and to any *certain* people that wants to call me money grubbing, obsessed or put down anything I'm interested in doing, I don't give a shit what you think, believe it or not. You have no idea who I am or what I go through. Hehe, anyway... Enjoy your stay! December 27, 2000: Hmm, it's been awhile. Well, I've been insanely busy. I have off from school till the 16th, so I have time to update pictures and CABARET. I'll be doing more tomorrow, most likely, but for now I have made the Misc. Pix and Work Pix way easier to view. Plus, my other mini pages (in other loves) are being worked on too. I have a way faster computer now! |
