instructions for download:

-First, you should create a new folder called "311 Theme" (or something to let you know what's inside of the folder.)  Make sure this folder is in an easy to find location on your computer,  like the desktop or someplace you have easy acess to.

-Now, Right click the files that you want to download.  Select "Save Target As".  The Save As box will open and you will have to find you're folder you made in the previous step.   Open up that folder and save the file in there.  Hit "Save" and the file will download to that folder.

instructions on installation:

-
To install a desktop icon simply right click on the icon on your desktop that you want to change.  Select "Properties" and when the properties box comes up, select "Change Icon".  Now just click the "Browse" button and find the 311 theme folder you created.  Find the icon you want and click the open button.  Then hit OK on the "Change Icon" box and then "Apply" on the icon properties box.  You will notice the icon change right before your eyes.  Just do that to every icon.

-
To install an icon to folders like "My Documents" and "My Computer",  it's a little more complicated.  Right click anywhere on your desktop and select "Properties".  The computer's "Display Properties" box should open up.  Select the tab for "Desktop"  and then click the "Customize Desktop" button.  You will see all of the desktop icons you cannot change by using the previous step.  To change them,  just select the icon and click "Change Icon".  Now just follow the steps for installing a regular desktop item.

-
To install a desktop background right click anywhere on your desktop and select "Properties".  The computer's "Display Properties" box should open up.  Select the tab for "Desktop"  and then click the "Browse" button.  Find the 311 theme folder you made where the background is located, select the background you want, and then click "Open".  You will see a preview of this background in the "Display Properties" window.  If you like it you can click "Apply" then "OK" and you are all set.  If it doesn't seem to be the right size,  go into the drop down menu titled "Position" and try the different positions until you find one that looks good.

-
To install and audio file locate your system's "Control Panel".  It's different on everyone's computer depending on how you have it set up,  so I can't give you directions on that... just find it.  Once you got that shit,  go to "Sounds and Audio Devices and Properties".  Click the tab marked "Sounds".  Now it's pretty easy...  just go through the list of sounds,  select "Browse" and then find the sound you want to replace it.  When you're all done,  I suggest going to the top of the window and hitting "Save As"  and then giving you're sound scheme a name... so that if anything happens,  you can always find it.  When you are all done,  hit apply,  and you will hear all your cool new sounds!

-
To install a cursor find that dumb control panel again.  This time click "Mouse".  Select the "Pointers" tab.  Now, once again,  just go through the list of pointers and click "Browse" to change them.  As before,  I suggest saving this scheme,  incase anything  accidently changes and you want to go back to find it.

That should be it for now... if you have anymore questions about this desktop theme,  feel free to contact me on AIM,  my name is DrydenHexum  or email me at
