The Choir was founded in 1965 In 1989, the Emek Hefer Choir visited Germany and Switzerland, participated in concerts and live radio broadcast.
In 1994, participated in the Eurocantat competition in Lytomissil, Czech epublic, and earned a Gold Diploma.
Siegen, germany 1998, representing Emek Hefer in the Jubilee festivities.
In 2001 participate and represent Israel in the prestigious Eisteddfod held annually in Llangollen in Wales, the U.K. We competed in two choral categories, sang on the local TV, and gave a concert in Manchester.
In 2003 the Emek Hefer Choir was invited to St Petersburg, Russia. We represented Israel in the first International Festival of Choir Art “Singing World”, held in the honor of celebrating 300th anniversary of the founding of St. Petersburg.
Participating in a workshop for choirs, (2002) led by the famous Hungarian conductor, G?bor Hollerung (chief conductor of the Dohn?nyi Symphony Orchestra
