Sunday School: Sunday Mornings at 10:00 a.m.
Our Sunday School program takes the children through many of the accounts recorded in Scripture, both Old and New Testament. This especially helps to prepare them for catechism class. It also prepares them for things taught in the sermons. Law and Gospel are the emphasis. The law, showing the children their sin; the Gospel, teaching them of their Savior Jesus Christ.
Sunday Bible Class: Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
The Sunday morning bible class currently is studying the Bible from cover-to-cover. The class began with Genesis 1:1 6 years ago and has completed 2 Chronicles. The class is structured for discussion and question. It is taught by an elder.
Sunday Morning Worship: Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
The Sunday morning service is a liturgical service, following the Order of Morning service and the Order of Holy Communion, found in The Lutheran Hymnal. The sermons are confessional and Scriptural, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the heart and center. Holy Communion is offered every 2nd Sunday of the month, to which members of the congregation or of congregations of our fellowship, are welcome to attend.
Adult Instruction Class: (arranged with Pastor)
Our adult instruction class gives the individual who is considering membership an opportunity to learn more about what we believe and teach. The book for instruction is Luther's Small Catechism. The classes meet weekly for about 1 1/2 hours. The classes should take 16-20 weeks to complete, depending on how much material is covered each week.
