My roomies are the best roomies in the world =) I LOVE YOU BSB =) and no, that's not the Backstreet Boys -- that would be Boomshiqua, Shaniqua, and Bunifa =P I'll admit we're wacky and crazy and loud =) but we had awesome times together and we've been through everything during freshman year together.

My best friend from back home in Pittsburgh goes to Northeastern University, which is really close to MIT, so that's another plus for me.

Another one of my best friends goes to Harvard and that's just blocks away =)

LIFE AT MIT
The best roomies in the world =)
Anita, me, and Liz
MIT, no doubt, is hard -- um, wait, impossible. The workload is really really heavy. Freshmen are on pass/no record which makes things a lot easier for us, but even passing is difficult. It's funny how I'd kill for a 60 (passing) now when I used to kill myself if I got a 60 =P However, the social life here is a lot better than most people think.

I'm a coxswain for the MIT Freshmen Men's Lightweight crew team, but I'm on a "break" now =P I'll probably rejoin in the spring. I'm also on the IFC (InterFraternity Council) Community Service committee and the Panhel Restructuring Committee since Panhel is breaking away from IFC =) I'm in CSC (Chinese Students' Club), BUSA (Biology Undergraduate Students Association), AMSA (American Medical Students Association), and hopefully Hunger Action Group.

Panhel Elections were held yesterday =) (December 8, 2001) -- and say hello to your 2002 Panhel Publicity Chairs -- that's right -- BSB BABY =) Me, Liz, and Anita are so excited about being publicity chairs =)

College life is very different from high school and I had to adjust quite a bit but honestly, I actually really like it =) I just wish I could stay a freshman forever and be on pass/no record =) I'm proud to be here, though -- even if it takes me a decade....or a couple decades....to graduate =P
I plan to major in Course 7 and Course 15 (bio and management) for non-MITers =) I would either like to become a director/administrator of a hospital (which my cousin seems to think is the weirdest ambition ever =P), a CEO of a bio-tech company, or a doctor (cardiologist or neurosurgeon). MIT, as you know, isn't exactly the easiest place to go pre-med, so I'm not really sure what I want to do.
