Background On The Youth Outreach Program
The Erin Mills Youth Outreach Program is designed to show the young people in the community that they are valued and to help them grow into responsible individuals. The Program aims to help youth to gather and enjoy together a variety of recreational activities and learning experiences with staff, volunteers and each other. The Youth Outreach Program is directed by an experienced Youth Worker. A team of adult and teen leaders from the community assists with the programs.

A key goal of the Program is to provide children and youth with opportunities to spend their time creatively in a safe and supervised environment. Participants in the various programs range in age from six to fifteen. The youth involved are primarily from the Erin Mills area, but some also come from Clarkson and Sheridan Homelands.
