| Ads: Advertising is available in the show catalog. A business card ad is available in the show catalog for $5. Cage Size: Single - 22 x 25 x 27 inches; double 22 x 48 x 27 inches. Groom spaces are the same size as a double cage. Custom cages will easily fit into a double cage space. Check-In: Check-in time for Saturday will be 7:30-8:30am. Judging will start promptly at 9:00am. Show hours are 9am - 5pm on Saturday and 9am - 4pm on Sunday. All cats must remain in the show hall during advertised hours unless permission is given to leave by the show manger. Clerks: Please indicate on the summary sheet if you will be able to clerk. Ring Clerks will be paid one free entry per day, lunch, and a catalog marked with finals and clerk's breed(s). Non-Vetted Show: All cats and kittens should be current with their vaccinations. Cats with parasites, fungus or showing signs of illness will not be permitted in the hall. Please clip your cat's calaws and remember that they have four feet! Services: Cat litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans. People food will be available from a conession in the show hall; also, there are several fast food eateries nearby. Show Hall: Expo New Mexico (formerly New Mexico State Fairgrounds) just off of San Pedro street in the School/Art Building. The show hall is climate controlled. No night watchman will be on duty. Show Hotel: Howard Johnsons (I-40/Eubank) 15 Hotel Circle - Albuquerque, NM 87123 is the official show hotel. Rates are $55/day for single/double/triple occupancy. Reservations can be made by calling (505-296-4852) or (800-877-4852) (fax 505-293-9072). You MUST mention that you are with the cat show to get this special rate. Please be especially careful to keep the rooms neat. Sweep up litter from the floor, bag used litter, etc. We want to continue to be welcome back for future shows. The hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the airport on a 24 hour basis. The hotel will also provide transportation to and from the show hall. Show Rules: Show Rules of The International Cat Associaion will be in effect. You may obtain a copy of the show rules from TICA - PO Box 2684 - Harlingen, TX 78551 or from the TICA website. Ribbons will be awarded according to TICA rules. |
