~*My Village*~
There is so much to see in my small village of New England. The magnificent Christine Lake, massive mountains of granite, Devils Hopyard, Crystal Falls, the famous "German Prisoner of War Camp" and so much more. Fables of witches and run away trains are still being told today.
~*Vacation by the Sea*~
I love the sea. Every year my children and I go to Hampton Beach. We enjoy the sites and music that are alive 24 hours a day.
~*Fiddlers Contest*~
On the last Sunday of June, you can hear the echoing of fiddles through the mountains. Contestants travel from far away. It is a day of family fun. You will find me under the big tent, body painting on the young and even the old.
~*The Black Bear*~
They roam freely around here. Every spring when they awaken from their sleep you can here people complaining about them trying to get into their homes and garages. Last spring I had a bear in my garden, it bent the iron rod pole and smashed the hummingbird feeder.
~*Swamp Donkey*~
Natives of the "Great North Woods" have called the moose a swamp donkey. These animals are a common site. They destroy peoples property and have killed hundreds in motor vehicle accidents.
