Seals and Sea Lions

These are California Sea Lions. They are bigger than true seals and have external ears and hind flippers that face forward. They live close to shore mainly in the oceans of the Southern Hemisphere and in the North Pacific.

Seals are a little smaller, have no external ears and their rear flippers point backwards.
